Today we came close to a second consecutive stage virctory for Euskaltel. Early in the stage a groupe of 18 riders escaped with among them Koldo Fernandez and Dionisio Galparsoro. The peloton gave them a ticket to the finish but they didn't went to the finish together.Horrach, Duque and Kolobnev managed to get away and at 1 km before the finish everything seemed decided, but then a little group seemed to come back with Koldo. Duque started sprinting and he just made it, 6 seconds before Koldo who became fourth, Dioni became 15 and all the other Euskaltels came in with the peloton.
