Yesterday the vuelta a Andalucia, also known as the Ruta del Sol, took off with 7 kilometres of prologue and Euskaltel did an ok job. Samuel Sanchez just missed the top 20 spot with a 21th spot, a first good result of 2009. Also Juan Jose Oroz shone, he became 22th.Results
