Juan Jose Oroz coloured the last task in the Challenge Iles Balears. At kilometre 18 he went away together with Hayman, Sioutsou, Rosendo and Schmitz but once again team Katusha, apparently the new super sprinting team, reeled them back in with 5 kilometres to go. Gerald Ciolek won the stage, Aitor Hernandez took away a nice 17th spot. In the final classification, that doesn't really counts, Mikel Nieve came 7th and Iñigo Landaluze came 8th.Results
