Markel Irizar rode the time trial of his life in the 4.6 kilometre long prologue of Paris-Nice. Ok he was a little bit helped by the rain that started after the first 40 riders, but let's just forget that :D. He was first for a very long time but at the end Thor Hushovd swept the time from Markel off the board. Haimar Zubeldia, the Euskaltel leader, disappointed with an 114th place, 0:33 down.Results
