Once again the stage was coloured by two unknown spanish riders, Lopez Gil and Garcia de Mateo but sadly for them they weren't able to stay away from the peloton. In the peloton Milram did the most work and it paid off as Alessandro Petacchi won his first stage of the vuelta 2007 before Betinni and his teammate Zabel.Koldo came in 14th, not really good after his 4th and 2nd place but he wasn't placed really good so maybe we can expect something from him the next stage, that probably will become another sprint. All the riders from Euskaltel came in the same time.
